Connect email
Connect email when you want Kwantflow to help with RFQ messages from Gmail or Outlook.
Each workspace manages its own mailbox connections. Connecting or disconnecting one workspace does not change another workspace.
What connected email enables
- review mailbox messages inside Kwantflow
- bring email attachments into RFQ intake
- use Mail RFQ Detection when enabled
- prepare RFQ intake from a selected email
- rewrite quote emails using the current quote and draft
Supported providers
Kwantflow currently supports:
- Gmail
- Microsoft Outlook
Connect a mailbox
- Open Kwantflow.
- Open Settings.
- Go to the email integration area for the active workspace.
- Choose Gmail or Outlook.
- Review the permission screen.
- Approve only if you want that workspace to use the mailbox.
- Return to Kwantflow after the browser sign-in completes.
Workspace isolation
Mailbox connections and saved RFQ detection results are workspace-specific.
When you switch workspaces, the visible mailbox view and remembered detection results switch with it.
Disconnect a mailbox
- Open Settings in the workspace that owns the connection.
- Find the connected mailbox.
- Choose the menu option to disconnect.
- Confirm the disconnect.
Disconnecting stops that workspace from using the mailbox. You can connect again later.
Privacy and review
Remote images in emails stay blocked until you choose to load them.
Creating an RFQ from email prepares a review form first. Kwantflow can match known companies and people where possible and add files separately, but no RFQ is created until you review and save it.
