Install Kwantflow

Install the beta desktop app and open it for the first time.

Kwantflow is a beta desktop app. You install it on your computer and use it for local-first estimating work.

Before you start

  • Use a computer you normally estimate from.
  • Make sure you can download apps from the internet.
  • Keep enough free disk space for project files and optional Kwantflow AI files.

Install on macOS (beta)

  1. Go to kwantflow.com/download.
  2. Download the macOS (beta) installer.
  3. Open the downloaded file.
  4. Move Kwantflow to your Applications folder if prompted.
  5. Open Kwantflow from Applications.

If macOS asks whether you want to open an app downloaded from the internet, confirm only if the app name is Kwantflow and the download came from the Kwantflow website.

Install on Windows (beta)

  1. Go to kwantflow.com/download.
  2. Download the Windows (beta) installer.
  3. Open the installer.
  4. Follow the prompts.
  5. Open Kwantflow from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.

Because the Windows app is currently beta, Windows may show an extra trust prompt before the app opens. Continue only when the installer came from the Kwantflow website.

Expected result

Kwantflow opens and asks you to create or open a workspace.
